Achieve a youthful appearance without surgery
As you age you will likely notice the appearance of lines and wrinkles, loss of facial volume and tear troughs under the eyes. Although this is completely natural it can have a negative impact on some people’s confidence – encouraging them to seek advice and proven ways to reverse these signs of ageing. Dermal fillers can improve many of the visible signs of ageing helping you achieve a more youthful and natural appearance, especially when done by a skilled medical professional.
Dermal fillers make your skin appear smoother by recontouring and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Unlike surgical methods, the results are subtle, giving you a radiant and youthful look.

What are injectable treatments?
Injectable treatments include anti-wrinkle injections, which relax specific muscles to soften expression lines, and dermal fillers, which can restore volume or define contours. Which treatment is right for you depends on your goals and your skin. We will talk this through with you at your consultation.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. Anti-wrinkle injections are prescription-only medicines, so you will be assessed and asked about your medical history before any treatment goes ahead. You will also have time to ask questions, and there is no obligation to go ahead on the day.
Do injectable treatments hurt?
Most people describe mild discomfort or a brief pinching sensation, as the needles are very fine. Some treatments include a local anaesthetic, and your practitioner will talk you through the options for keeping you comfortable.
How long do the results last?
Results vary from person to person. Anti-wrinkle injections usually take several days to settle, with the full effect visible after around two weeks, and typically last around three to four months. Dermal fillers vary by product and area, and can last from several months to more than a year.
Are injectables safe, and is there an age limit?
Injectable treatments are generally safe when carried out by a trained practitioner, but they can cause temporary redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness, and more serious side effects are rare. By law in England, botulinum toxin and dermal fillers cannot be given to anyone under 18 for cosmetic reasons. They are also not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
