Chemical Peels
A Minimally Invasive Procedure to Improve the Appearance of Your Skin
Chemical peels encourage deep exfoliation of your skin by removing the outer layer of dead skin cells. As a result this forces the body to replenish them with new cells, leaving you with youthful, smoother and glowing skin.
When performed regularly, chemical peels help your skin rejuvenate itself like younger skin would.
Effective Treatment
They can also be used as an effective treatment to address specific skin concerns including:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Acne Scars
- Moderate photo damage
- Discolouration
- Rosacea
- Dehydrated skin
- Carbon Peels Facial

What is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel is a professional treatment in which a carefully chosen solution is applied to the skin to exfoliate its surface layers. It can help to improve the look of uneven texture and tone, fine lines, pigmentation and breakouts. The type and strength of the peel are selected to suit your skin.
Is a chemical peel painful?
You may feel a warm, tingling or stinging sensation for a short while. This is usually mild to moderate, depending on the strength of the peel. Your practitioner will check how you are feeling throughout and will remove or neutralise the peel as needed.
Will my skin peel, and how long will it take to recover?
It depends on the peel. Lighter peels may cause little visible peeling, while stronger ones can cause dryness and flaking for several days. Your practitioner will explain what to expect for your treatment, so you can plan around any social events.
How should I look after my skin afterwards?
Keep your skin moisturised, use gentle products, and do not pick or peel any flaking skin. Wear a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or higher every day and avoid sunbeds and strong sunshine. Your practitioner will give you specific aftercare instructions, including when to restart any active skincare products.
Who should not have a chemical peel?
Peels are not suitable for everyone. Please tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have sunburn, an active skin infection or a cold sore, have very sensitive skin, or have recently taken acne medication such as isotretinoin. We will go through your medical history at your consultation before recommending a peel.
